They create a divine will to power within us, and give us a true understanding of the eternal promise of spring, or the eternal promise of life and understanding.
Plato believed that conquering and embracing life while recognize the inevitability of it makes up thought. Recognizing there is spring, and it will always return, is a major source of thought the thinker can reap, and the winter in his soul helps him resist perception and the real world around him. Winter commands the real thought to conquer obedience, and when the thinker obeys this command, he creates live, original thought, empty of perception and full of the awareness of true thought and cognition.
The formula becomes the living, human thinker, compared to last spring. He experiences the glory of springtime in the real world. Because he, like spring, obeys the authority of this live thought, he makes winter in his soul, in order to resist the reality...
